Hurricane Harvey was one of these worst storms to hit the Texas landfall in decades. Homes and businesses were destroyed in Rockport, Texas. Trillions of gallons of water dropped down in Houston. Our brothers and sisters in Harvest Houston NW were also affected by this storm. The need is great and our response should be equally as great.

Between the churches in Houston, New Braunfels, Austin and here in San Antonio we've sent out many teams to help with rescue, evacuations, and relief in Houston, Orange, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Katy, and Rockport, Texas. The need is still great!

There are three ways that we as the body of Christ can get involved:

Pray! We need to seek God's face and pray for those who are in the affected areas, we need to pray for the workers who are helping in many different capacities, and we need to pray that God will be glorified even in the storm by the efforts of His church and the response of the needy.

Give! On top of prayer we need fund to help send teams to do relief work. Donations are absolutely essential to this mission.

Go! The last thing is to go. More than anything right now most of the affected areas desperately need people to come down, help with the shelters, help with clean up, help with meals. The need is greater than the available help. Contact your small group leader about how you can get involved. If you're not in a small group contact to get plugged in. If you're not a part of this body of believers contact for more info.
