Elder - Eric Fulkerson

Eric Fulkerson
Eric@harvestsa.org

Eric grew up in Washington State and came to know the Lord during middle school. He later joined the U.S. Army and was discipled during his enlistment by a para-church ministry which helped mature his faith and gave him a deeper desire to see others discipled. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA and is excited about starting seminary in God’s time. He currently works as a project manager for the Defense Health Agency.

In 2002 Eric married his wife Carissa(Ca-ree-sa) and moved to southern Illinois where they spent the first few years of marriage. While in Illinois Eric and Carissa began to see a great need for biblical discipleship in the churches they attended and grew even more passionate about seeing others grow in their relationship with the Lord.

God brought Eric and his family to south Texas in 2013 and shortly after joined Harvest Bible Chapel San Antonio in the very early stages of forming a core group. Seeing the church built from the beginning has been a life and faith changing experience for both Eric and Carissa, not only has it given them a deeper love for Christ’s bride but also to see more discipleship oriented churches planted throughout the world.

Eric and Carissa have five kids: Grace, Jonah, Micah, Kerith, and Titus. Eric loves hanging out with his wife and kids spending quality time just being a family. He also enjoys cooking BBQ, watching his San Francisco 49ers, and college basketball.
